Lawrence Hawkins
MSc Life Sciences by Research
Masters student interested in using bioinformatic approaches to investigate the interaction between transcriptional pausing and histone modification. I have previously worked in clinical genetics supporting cancer testing pipelines for patients. I graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Manchester, where I undertook an independent research project on investigating the link between brain metabolism and transporter expression in a novel Alzheimer’s Disease model. I aim to use the skills and experience I gain to pursue a PhD in genetic regulation.
